This Poe review covers Quora’s app for chatting with many AI models in one place. Poe, for example, offers models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI and DeepSeek, plus thousands of community bots, on one login.
Plans start at $4.99 a month and pay in points, which each model spends at a different rate. However, Poe’s privacy policy lets third-party bot developers store your chats and use them to train their models.
Poe Review: Is It Worth It in 2026?
For people who compare models often, it can be. One subscription also covers many labs’ models, and switching takes a click.
For private or work material, however, a direct subscription is safer. ChatGPT and Claude let you turn off training in settings, as our guide to which AI tools train on your data explains.
What Poe Does
First, Poe puts chat models, image and video models and community bots behind one interface. You can, moreover, build your own bots and use group chats, and subscriber points work through Poe’s developer API.
Its strength, therefore, is comparison: ask the same question to several models and see which answers best. Our guide to ChatGPT vs Claude shows how two leading models differ.
What Poe Costs
Poe, for example, sells six plans, all metered in points, guides that checked its pricing in August and September 2026 report.
| Plan | Monthly price | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | About 300 a day |
| Starter | $4.99 | 10,000 a day |
| Premium | $19.99 | About 660,000 a month |
| Premium Plus | $49.99 | About 2.5 million a month |
| Pro | $99.99 | About 5 million a month |
| Pro Max | $249.99 | About 8.3 million a month |
On March 30, 2026, moreover, Poe cut the free allowance from 3,000 to 300 points a day, guides report. Our guide to free and paid AI tools compares other free plans.

How Points Work
However, each message costs points based on the model and the length of the reply. Premium models such as Claude Opus or GPT-6 Astra, therefore, use many more points than budget models.
As a result, it is hard to predict how far a plan stretches. Poe also says its model prices run 10% to 30% below native provider rates, one guide reports, but that is Poe’s own claim.
Which Models It Offers
Poe, for example, lists models including GPT-6 Astra, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Kimi and DeepSeek, guides report. Exact versions, however, change often, so check the model list before you subscribe. Our Claude vs Poe comparison also weighs Anthropic’s own app against many models paid in points.
Models reached through an aggregator may also behave differently from the maker’s own app, for example in context length or features. Perplexity’s help center, for example, says the same about the models it offers, and our Perplexity review covers its model list.
What Independent Evaluations Show
For this Poe review, we found no independent test of Poe itself. Its answers come from other labs’ models, which have their own scores, as our guide to AI benchmarks explained covers.
Therefore, output quality depends on the model you pick, not on Poe. Our list of the best AI tools ranks the main assistants directly.
Your Data
Poe’s privacy policy says chat contents and uploaded files are shared with the AI model providers and developers behind each bot. Developers using APIs, moreover, may store your chats and use them to train their models, an analysis of the policy notes.
Deletion requests, in addition, may not reach data already held by those third parties. Therefore, keep private, client or work material off Poe, especially with community bots.

Who Runs Poe
Quora, Inc., the question-and-answer company, makes Poe. Its DeepSeek and Grok bots, moreover, come from labs covered in our DeepSeek review and Grok review. Our guide to who owns which AI tool covers the labs whose models Poe offers.
Poe vs Direct Subscriptions
ChatGPT Plus and Claude Pro, for example, each cost $20 a month, include their makers’ full feature sets, and let you turn off training, as our guides to ChatGPT pricing and Claude pricing explain. Poe Premium, by contrast, costs $19.99 and covers many labs, but through points and weaker data terms.
For one main assistant, therefore, a direct plan is simpler. Our lists of ChatGPT alternatives and Claude alternatives compare the options.
Who Should Use Poe
Overall, Poe suits people who compare models often, test new releases, or want occasional access to many labs without several subscriptions. Starter at $4.99, for example, works for light testing. Our ChatGPT vs Poe comparison also weighs OpenAI’s full app against many models paid in points.
By contrast, it suits anyone handling private or work material less, and heavy users of one premium model, who may run through points quickly.

How We Research
This Poe review takes prices from guides that checked Poe’s pricing in 2026, and data terms from an analysis of Poe’s privacy policy, read on October 2, 2026.
However, we did not read Poe’s policy directly, and we found no independent test of Poe itself. Our about page explains the criteria.

Models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek and others, plus community bots. Versions change often.

Poe
Many models, weak data terms
Poe puts models from many labs behind one login and a $4.99 entry plan, which suits comparing models. Against that, points make costs hard to predict, the free plan shrank by 90%, and its policy lets bot developers store chats and train on them.
The Verdict
Poe is the easiest way to try many AI models with one account. For comparing models or testing new releases, moreover, it is hard to beat.
The rest of this Poe review holds the score at 3.0, mainly for data terms and unpredictable points. So use it for testing and public material, and subscribe directly for anything private.
