Writesonic vs Anyword compares two marketing tools that no longer do the same job. Writesonic, for example, tracks how AI assistants such as ChatGPT mention your brand and suggests fixes. Anyword, by contrast, scores ad, email and landing-page variants before you test them.

Our reviews also score Writesonic 3.0 and Anyword 2.9. On data, however, Writesonic is clearly stronger: its policy rules out training on customer data.

Writesonic vs Anyword: The Short Answer

Choose Writesonic, first, if you want to know how AI assistants describe your brand, and you can commit to a year. Starter costs $79 a month billed yearly, and its privacy policy rules out training, trials included.

Choose Anyword instead, however, if you run paid ads and email at volume and want variants ranked. Starter costs $39 a month billed yearly, though its accuracy claims have no published method.

Data and Training

Writesonic’s privacy policy rules out training on customer data, including trials, and it is SOC 2 Type 2 audited. As a result, it is one of the clearer marketing tools on data, as our list of the best AI tools for privacy shows.

Anyword’s rule, however, appears only in directory summaries, which say it does not train third-party models on customer data. Our guide to which AI tools train on your data covers both.

Evidence

Neither tool has an independent test of its output. Anyword claims 82% accuracy for its predictions, against 52% for generic GPT-4o, but publishes no method.
