Perplexity pricing in 2026 runs from a free plan to Max at $200 a month, with Pro at $20 in between. Verified students and educators, for example, also pay $10 a month for Education Pro.
Teams, however, pay per seat on Enterprise plans, the only tiers that promise your data never trains models. This page, therefore, lists every plan, what it adds and who it suits.

To begin with, Free gives basic searches, three Pro Searches a day and one Research query a month. Pro, at $20 a month or $200 a year, adds advanced models, image and video generation and more Pro Searches.

Is Pro Worth It?

Max and Enterprise
Max, moreover, suits heavy individual users who hit Pro’s limits daily. Enterprise Pro and Max, by contrast, add admin controls and a promise that data never goes into training.
Also, annual Max billing works only on perplexity.ai, its help center says, so app-store subscriptions bill monthly.
Data and Training by Plan
On personal plans, for instance, you can opt out of training, but the opt-out covers only data collected after you switch it off. Only the enterprise tiers, therefore, promise no training at all.
