The best AI app builders on this list, in our order, are Lovable, Bolt.new, v0 and Replit. Each turns a prompt into a working web app. Each, however, also bills by credits or tokens, so costs grow with every change.
We rank them by their scores in our reviews. However, none has an independent benchmark of its own, and their data terms vary widely, so each entry below names what to check.
Best AI App Builders: The Short Answer
Among the best AI app builders here, Lovable ranks first: it is the easiest for non-coders, and unlimited collaborators share one credit pool. Bolt.new, meanwhile, builds full-stack apps that run in your browser.
v0, by contrast, focuses on React interfaces deployed to Vercel, and Replit adds a full editor beside its Agent. If you already have code, however, a coding agent such as Claude Code fits better.
The List at a Glance
| Builder | Our score | Billing; plan to start |
|---|---|---|
| Lovable | 3.2 | Shared credits; Pro $25/mo |
| Bolt.new | 3.0 | Tokens; Pro $25/mo for 10M |
| v0 | 3.0 | Credits; Team $30 per user/mo |
| Replit | 2.9 | Effort-based credits; Core $20/mo |

How We Ordered This List
This list includes the AI app builders we have reviewed. Our review scores decide the order, and ties go to the lower paid entry price, as in our list of the best AI tools.
So Bolt.new, with Pro at $25, sits above v0, whose entry paid plan for new users is Team at $30.
1. Lovable: Easiest for Non-Coders
Lovable builds apps with a database, sign-in and hosting from a description. Every plan also allows unlimited collaborators who share credits. Pro costs $25 a month for 100 credits.
What to check, though: Business doubles the price for the same credits, and a training opt-out is listed only there. Our Lovable review covers the details.
2. Bolt.new: Full-Stack Apps in Your Browser
Bolt.new, by StackBlitz, writes front-end and back-end code and runs it in your browser, then deploys to Bolt Cloud or Netlify. Pro costs $25 a month for 10 million tokens.
What to check, however: tokens burn faster as projects grow, and its policy documents no training opt-out. Our Bolt.new review explains.
3. v0: React Interfaces on Vercel
v0 turns prompts into React and Next.js interfaces with a live preview, then syncs to GitHub and deploys to Vercel. Its free plan includes $5 of monthly credits.
What to check, though: new paid users start on Team at $30 a user, and a training opt-out arrives with Business, a guide reports. Our v0 review covers the plans.
4. Replit: Editor, Agent and Hosting
Replit keeps a full editor and terminal beside its Agent, with hosting and databases included. Core costs $20 a month with $20 of credits.
What to check, however: Agent work bills by effort, and its policy allows training on your code without an opt-in. Our Replit review covers both.
Security Checks for Every Builder
Generated apps often work at first try. However, they can expose data through weak access rules. In 2025, for example, a flaw turned up in sites built with Lovable, and Replit’s Agent deleted a user’s production database.
So check sign-in, data access rules and backups before real users arrive. Our guide to using AI for debugging covers fixes.
Data and Training
In fact, data terms vary more here than among chat assistants. Replit’s policy allows training on your code, Bolt.new documents no opt-out, and Lovable and v0 list opt-outs only on Business plans. Our v0 vs Lovable comparison also weighs price and data terms.
Therefore, keep client code and regulated data out of lower plans. Our guide to which AI tools train on your data compares other tools.

If You Already Have Code
App builders work best from scratch. For existing codebases, coding agents fit better: Claude Code scored 68 and Codex 63 on the September Coding Agent Index.
Our list of the best AI for coding ranks them, and our Claude Code review covers the top-scoring agent in detail.
Agents against a builder, moreover, are weighed in our ChatGPT vs Replit and Claude vs Replit comparisons.

How We Research
This list of the best AI app builders draws on our reviews of each tool, read against trackers of each pricing page and analyses of each policy between July and October 3, 2026. One example source is Bolt’s privacy policy.
We run no build tests of our own. Our about page explains the criteria, and our list of the best AI for coding beginners covers learning tools.
Best AI App Builders FAQ
On this list, Lovable, at 3.2: the easiest for non-coders, with credits shared across a team.
Replit Core costs $20 a month; Lovable Pro and Bolt.new Pro cost $25. All four have free plans.

Not by default. Check sign-in, data access rules and backups before real users arrive.
A builder to start from scratch; a coding agent such as Claude Code or Codex for existing code.
The Verdict
The best AI app builders on this list turn ideas into working apps quickly, but every one bills per change and needs a security review. Lovable leads for non-coders, and Bolt.new and v0 follow.
So prototype in a builder, check security, and move serious code to a coding agent when the project grows.
