Copy.ai vs Anyword compares two marketing AI tools that now serve different teams. Copy.ai, owned by Fullcast, sells cheap shared chat and workflows for sales and marketing. Anyword, by contrast, sells a predictive score that ranks ad, email and landing-page variants before you test them.

Our reviews score Copy.ai 3.0 and Anyword 2.9. Neither has confirmed its training rules; therefore, price and purpose carry most of the weight.

Copy.ai vs Anyword: The Short Answer

Choose Copy.ai, first, if a small team wants several labs’ models in one shared workspace for little money. Its Chat plan costs $29 a month for five seats, with models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google.

Choose Anyword instead if you run many paid ads or emails and want variants ranked. However, Starter costs $39 a month billed yearly for one seat, and its accuracy claims have no published method.

What Each One Does

First, Copy.ai’s Chat plan gives a team shared access to models from several labs, with Brand Voice and Infobase for style and company facts. Its Agents plan also adds workflows on credits for sales and marketing tasks.

Anyword, on the other hand, scores each variant from 0 to 100, and its Data-Driven Editor rescores copy as you edit. On higher plans, moreover, it trains models on your past campaign results.

Prices and Seats

For a small team, therefore, Copy.ai is far cheaper: Chat costs $29 a month for five seats, or $24 billed yearly. Agents, however, costs $249 a month for ten seats with 10,000 workflow credits.

Anyword Starter, by contrast, costs $49 monthly or $39 billed yearly for one seat, with 50 predictions a month. Data-Driven, meanwhile, costs $99 or $79 for three seats and 100 predictions. Data and Training

However, neither company has confirmed its training rule in sources we could read. Trackers disagree on whether Copy.ai trains on customer content; therefore, email privacy@copy.ai to opt out before you paste confidential work.

Directory summaries say Anyword does not train third-party models on customer data, but we could not find that on its own pages. Our guide to which AI tools train on your data covers both.

Evidence

On evidence, neither tool has an independent test of its output. Copy.ai at least names its model providers, so its writing quality traces back to known models.

Anyword claims 82% accuracy for its predictions against 52% for generic GPT-4o, but it publishes no method. So test its scores against your own A/B results, as our guide to AI benchmarks explained suggests.

Who Owns Each

Fullcast, a Salt Lake City revenue-operations company, acquired Copy.ai on October 15, 2025, and is folding it into a revenue platform. Keywee Inc., meanwhile, runs Anyword; it started in 2013. Our guide to who owns which AI tool tracks both.

Winners by Category

In short, Copy.ai wins on price per seat, model transparency and shared chat for small teams. It also suits sales workflows better, given its new owner.

Anyword, on the other hand, wins on variant ranking for performance marketing. Data terms, however, are a tie. Overall, in Copy.ai vs Anyword our scores are close, 3.0 against 2.9, so the job decides.

Which One to Choose

Take Copy.ai if a small team wants shared chat with several models on a tight budget, after opting out of training by email. By contrast, take Anyword if your work is paid ads and email at volume and you already run A/B tests.

For writing alone, however, a $20 general assistant often does more, as our list of the best AI for writing shows.
